Who is behind Lancashire AI.
Lancashire AI is run by Sami Swain, known to most people as Sam. He is the director of Sami Swain Web Spinner UK Ltd, the company that trades as Lancashire AI.
We build AI automation for businesses across Lancashire. Not strategy decks, not pilots that never ship. The systems that answer your phone, price your work and clear the admin nobody wanted to do.
Our work starts the same way each time. You describe a week that is half real work and half chasing, rekeying and apologising for slow replies. We map where the time goes, then remove the parts a machine can do properly.
The company was incorporated on 21 May 2025 and the Lancashire AI name launched in 2026. That makes it a new brand. It has no reviews or case studies of its own yet, and this site does not borrow them from Sam's other work.
About Sam
Sam builds websites, software and automation for small businesses. His LinkedIn profile describes him as a UK based full stack developer, software engineer and app developer.
On his consultant profile he describes his job as helping small businesses work out whether AI, simpler automation or an ordinary software change is the right fix, then building the one they choose.
The Companies House register lists him as the only director of the company that runs Lancashire AI, appointed on 21 May 2025.
How the work is done
- We start by mapping where your time goes, in writing, before anything is built.
- Most of what we build is delivered remotely. We work from Lancashire and will come out to see you if that helps.
- You own what we build. It is not rented to you per seat.
- We tell you when something will not work.

You can check every line of this on the public register. Lancashire AI is a private business. It is not part of Lancashire County Council or any other public body.

Other work by the same company
The same company runs four other brands, each with its own job. We say so openly rather than leave you to find out.
- Preston AI Services, AI help for businesses in Preston itself. Preston is its patch, so this site points Preston businesses there.
- WebBoss, apps and fully bespoke software, for when you need a new system built rather than automation around the ones you have.
- Web Spinner UK, websites and SEO.
- AI Engineer UK, AI engineering for companies anywhere in the UK that have their own technical teams.
